Bio

Hi, I’m Gabriela Paludi. I’m a contemporary artist & collagist based and born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I began my artistic experience attending drawing, painting, and engraving workshops until I began studying at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón in 1999, where I studied for two years.

At UNA (National University of the Arts), I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts in Painting. In that same institution, I also did the Post grade Course on Media and Technologies for Painting Production directed by Professor Domingo Florio in 2010.

In 2015 and 2016 I attended the meetings to develop projects framed in contemporary sculpture «El Encarne» by Jackie Miller and Ezequiel Verona, dictated at IMPA.

Throughout my career I participated in several workshops, dabbling in different techniques: painting, drawing, object, assembly, screen printing, stencil, etc.

I am curious and restless by nature, I combine techniques, varying the resources according to what I want to say. I am passionate about the freedom that art gives me, I believe that in the field of creation there are no limits. For some years I have been working on the collage technique, and attending the workshop of the collagist Carolina Chocrón.
